Synthesis and characterization of glibenclamide complexes of magnesium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, zinc and cadmium salts

Glibenclamide is the commonly used hypoglycemic agent in NIDDM. Metal complexes of glibenclamide have been synthesized by reaction with different metals such as magnesium, chromium, cobalt, nickel, zinc and cadmium in the form of their chlorides.
